The Programme is designed for local secondary school students aged 13 to 17, covering workshops in five key areas ranging from Flight Simulation Training, Space Science knowledge, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), 3D Printing to Cube Satellites (CubeSat) prototyping.
Maker Workshops integrates applied technology and hands-on experiences that allow you to create your own innovative prototypes. From idea creation to solving problems, our technician will assist you to learn the use of different equipment and software applications.
“Play 4 Performance” showcases the latest interactive training solutions that combine gamification and technological applications to enhance educators and students' technological knowledge, team spirit and soft skills, so as to support the upcoming I&T development in workplace and equip local talents for the future. Participants can try out a range of activities such as drones, VR/AR, Robot, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and handmade crafts workshops to strengthen their critical thinking skills, improve communication skills, as well as master the knowledge of innovative tech products to achieve the given missions.
TechEd STEAM Bootcamp provides students with high-quality and comprehensive innovative technology content, allowing them to be exposed to different science and technology subjects from early age. Upon completing the course, students will be able to master self-learning and problem-solving skills, and establish a lifelong foundation of technology knowledge that will be useful for them. The bootcamp includes six learning themes: Design Thinking, Python Programming, 3D Printing, Aerospace Technology, AR/VR, and HKPC expert sharing.
