AI Generated Art will lead students to explore the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of art and experience the creative wonders brought by Midjourney’s drawing. Students will learn how to use Midjourney to create art, including selecting and adjusting different parameters, designing artistic styles, generating unique images, and creating visual effects. This course provides students with the opportunity to simultaneously learn about artificial intelligence, English, and visual arts, fostering their interdisciplinary learning process. Course Objectives

1. Understanding AI Art

• Develop a solid understanding of AI-generated art and its potential applications in the creative process.

2. Creating with AI Tools

• Gain hands-on experience using tools like Google Slides to create visually appealing and interactive storybooks.

3. Editing and Manipulating Art

• Acquire skills in editing, manipulating, and enhancing AI-generated art.

4. Integrating AI and Artistic Expression

• Explore the fusion of AI and their own artistic expression, discovering innovative ways to combine AI-generated elements with their personal style to create unique and compelling storybooks.

Course Outline

1. Introduction and Overview

• Introduce the concept of AI-generated art and its applications.
• Explain the tools and platforms that will be used, such as Midjourney and ChatGPT.
• Provide an overview of the course structure and objectives.

2. Storybook Creation with Midjourney and ChatGPT

• Using Google Slides for Picture Book Creation
• Generating Stories with ChatGPT
• Visual Art Styles and Keywords
• Creating Images with Midjourney
• Adding Elements and Editing Images

3. Theme Song Creation

• Introduce the concept of creating a theme song based on the students’ storybooks.
• Provide resources and tools for music composition.
• Guide students in translating the essence of their stories into musical elements.
• Allow time for students to compose and refine their theme songs.

4. Presentation and Showcase

• Allocate time for each student to present their storybook and theme song.
• Encourage students to explain their creative process, inspiration, and any challenges they faced.
• Provide feedback and facilitate a discussion on the artistic choices and storytelling techniques used.
